My core philosophy focuses on growing every aspect of an athlete's skill set. Not only physical skills, mental skills as well. I want to see all of my athlete's learn to love and enjoy the game of volleyball, and not only succeed on the court, but off the court as well.
My goal is for every athlete I coach to establish and build strong fundamentals as well as technical skills. I focus on tailoring and adjusting every training based on each athlete's needs and goals. I aim to develop volleyball athlete's that play with confidence, high volleyball IQ, and passion.
I set high expectations for my athlete's to help them "dig deep" to reach their goals. I welcome an open dialogue to create a trusting and fun environment. My goal is for every athlete to want to come back to the gym and strive to reach their goals.

Coach Brodie has given his time to helping me. We have been doing private lessons for a couple months now and they have been extremely helpful in my development. During the lessons we would get in a lot of touches and reps. It was very integral to my play because the more I passed the more I could learn. Coach Brodie taught me how to move my feet on serve receive and how to hold my angles after every pass. On defense I learned to stop my feet and not hesitate. It helped me become a more aggressive and consistent Libero. I have seen myself grow because of these one on one lessons and helped myself understand what I needed to work on and/or change. Coach Brodie has also coached me on my mental game and how to stay positive even when I am not doing the greatest. I work on staying positive in these lessons and focus on what I can control. These private lessons have elevated my play to a level that I didn’t even know I had, I hope to continue improving and learning from Coach Brodie to get ready for next season!
